The Quest for Energy with Lorraine Moller

Lorraine Moller on the “Sparks of Life”

We all feel it ebbing and flowing like the tides as we go through our daily lives, and yet very few people can define what it actually is. The truth is that is energy is what we are, and all that we are. It manifests itself subtly on the quantum spiritual level, like the weather on the emotional level, and, on the physical level, as phosphate ions through ATP (adenosine triphosphate) generated in the mitochondria in each and every cell in the body. Unfortunately, they didn’t give us the handbook so few of us understand the basics of how the ATP system works.

In this 1-hour presentation, Lorraine Moller will explain how each one of us is given this remarkable rechargeable battery and show us how to incorporate simple practices that manage, maintain and amplify it. Join us on August 16th at 6 pm for “Sparks of Life” with Lorraine Moller! Click here to join the zoom; passcode: Quest2022.

What is energy?

Energy. We know that youngsters have a lot of it and that it is something that we desire more of as we get older. When we are enthused and happy our energy is high, likewise when we are sick our energy is low. We all feel it ebbing and flowing like the tides as we go through our daily lives, and when we die our physical energy dissipates until our bodies are reduced to dust. We know it so well, yet very few people can define what it is.

So, what exactly is this energy we talk about and how does it work in terms of the human body?

Science defines energy as the ability to do work, to make things happen, and to cause changes. High school physics tells us that energy cannot be created or destroyed; it can only be changed into two different forms: Potential Energy which is stored energy such as food or fuel, AND Kinetic Energy which is energy that has been released and is moving or working, such as thermal, radiant, electrical, chemical, nuclear, and gravitational energy.

However, these modern official descriptions fall flat in telling us what energy is; they only describe what it can do. For eons and across cultures this curious force that we call energy has held an inexplicable and unquantifiable quality that underscores all of life and is the stuff of myth, mystery, and magic.

The Chinese call it ‘chi’, to the Japanese it is known as ‘ki’, the Indians it is ‘prana’ or ‘shakti’ and the Māori as ‘mana’. The Western mystics called it ‘life-force’ and others have described it as ‘subtle energy’ or ‘universal energy.’ Quantum physics states energy as ‘the movement of subatomic particles’ – that everything is in fact vortices of vibration and not solid at all, which pretty much blows the foundation out from the commonly held materialistic worldview.

The truth about energy

The truth is that is energy is what we are, and all that we are. It manifests itself subtly on the quantum spiritual level, with the intensity of the weather on the emotional level, and, on the gross physical level, as phosphate ions generated from ATP (adenosine triphosphate) in the mitochondria of our cells.

Each remarkable ATP molecule is composed of adenosine and three phosphate ions, one of which flies off and enables the firing of a muscle fiber. The interesting thing about the phosphate ion is that it creates a spark as it does so, like the phosphorus tip of a struck matchstick. We literally light up when, as science puts it, we do work, make things happen, or cause changes.

From a practical athletic point of view, we recognize that sport and competition are all energy games where the currency is ATP. The Game of Life is no different, and to be an effective student in learning about creating and loving through experience, we need energy to go the course and pay our dues for our participation.

Unfortunately, they didn’t give us The Human Energy Manual when we came into this life so few of us understand the basics of how our bodies produce energy. In this 1-hour presentation Lorraine will focus on ATP production; explaining how each one of us is given this extraordinary rechargeable battery and how it is designed to manage our resources to supply precisely the right type of energy to meet our activity requirements. Finally, she will show us how to incorporate simple practices that manage, maintain and amplify our ATP batteries for a lifetime of vitality.
