Mind in Motion with Gretchen Spiro and Nita Little

Saturday, January 9th at 10-11:30am MDT

Yoga teacher Nita Little

Join master teacher Nita Little and her longtime student Gretchen Spiro for an exploration of movement, and the way our conscious awareness of our mind in motion can deepen everything we do. Embodied awareness generates joy, healing, and a connection with our inherent wisdom and expansive aliveness. This class is an introduction to Nita’s groundbreaking work of “mind in motion.” We will move while engaging our physical, mental, and emotional attention, with unique practices and a sense of both depth and levity.

“Nita was my first true Teacher (capital T). Her brilliance is her evocative intelligence—conveying how the body-mind are One…not just as a concept, but as an Experience.  We met almost 40 years ago, and her teaching and presence have influenced my life-how I look at the world, what and how I teach and practice, and my connection to wonder and creativity.

This class will be pleasurable, engaging and…fun! It’s an antidote to being in your head and feeling the weight of the world on your shoulders. Nita will guide the class as an experience, evoking a wisdom in your body you may not have known previously that you have…that is you.” – Gretchen Spiro, Women’s Quest Yoga Instructor since 2002
