Ciao Questers!

We are thrilled to invite you to join a virtual cooking class with one of WQ’s longtime community partners in Italy. Chicca Maione was born in Naples, Italy and has called Tuscany home for the last couple decades. For any Questers who have ventured with us to Tuscany, you most likely had the joy of being welcomed into Chicca’s self-restored 18th century Tuscan farmhouse, where she shared authentic recipes and taught us simple ways to enjoy the art of crafting a home cooked meal
Chicca believes that cooking is a creative experience that involves mind and body, smell and touch, mood and imagination. It is an act of love and generosity, because it is something that we also do for others, as much as for ourselves.
One of our current initiatives as we engage in new ways with our WQ community, is to make sure that our friends and partners around the world continue to be a part of our lives. Hope that each of you can tune in on April 26, 2020 at 10am PST/ 11am MDT/ 1pm EST for a fun, interactive, and delicious experience!

A Message from Chicca:

Ciao Everyone,
During these days the whole world is experiencing the same feeling that life has changed all of a sudden. In many parts of the world people are under the order STAY HOME, spending more time with their family and having more time for cooking. I’ve been teaching cooking classes for almost 20 years and would love to help you virtually in your kitchen to prepare some delicious recipes, to show you how to put together nourishing and healthy meals on a regular basis.
During our online cooking classes I’ll be guiding you step by step through various recipes and answering your questions in real-time. You can just watch … or you can cook right along with me! This is the time to support each other, and our kitchen is the best place to find some comfort and delicious home cooked food!

Recipes will be simple, with few and affordable ingredients from your pantry. They will not request a high level of cooking skills, just some love and imagination. That’s the way the Italians cook and you’ll be cooking like a real Italian in your kitchen!
How can you support us?

We don’t know what the future will bring to small businesses like ours. Classes and tours have been cancelled for months and who knows when we can go back to normality.

  • Share our cooking classes with your friends, and when the situation will permit, we would love to welcome you all back in my kitchen to cook together!
With love,
