Gabriela Meneses

Gabriela Meneses was born in the countryside, 90 kilometers away from Cusco. She was attracted by spirituality and searched for the meaning of existence at early age. Since very young she was wandering in the ancient places like Machu Picchu, left by the inkas and pre- inkas around Cusco, investigating and trying to understand how her wise ancestors were conceiving the Cosmos.

Her interest took her to travel around South America like a backpacker, getting in contact with many people in different countries and visiting extraordinary places. Getting back to Perú she chose to live in nature and learn from the wise elders, keepers of the ancient traditions. In that time, she began to hike to the high sacred mountains in the area and that is her passion until today.

She became a guide after many requests from people who knew her expertise in ancient culture, the geography and because of speaking fluent English. In that way, she has become a Chaka Warmi, a person who can be a bridge to connect with the profound meaning and mystic of this place.
