Christina Russell
Christina Russell was born in Montreal Canada and grew up in New England where she cultivated her love of the outdoors. She started Alpine skiing in 1970 and in 1987 began her passion for telemark and nordic skiing. She completed an Outdoor Educators course with the National Outdoor Leadership School and did a one year outdoor leadership program with Greenfield Community College in 1987. In 1990, she moved to Colorado. Christina has lead groups with the Boulder Adventure program as well as the CU outdoor program. She began her journey with Women’s Quest in 1996. Over the years, she has been on staff teaching nordic skiing, mountain biking, belly dancing, Zumba and giving massage in Winter Park and Vermont.
Christina’s massage experience began in 1991. She attended the Colorado School of Healing Arts in Lakewood. In 1996, she began working at Alpine Physical Therapy, which became Howard Head Sports Medicine before closing their location in Fraser, Colorado in Fall 2012. Since then, Christina has turned her full attention to expanding her private practive for massage in Winter Park, CO and teaching Phenomenal Touch™ Massage. Currently she is a Phenomenal Touch™ Massage Instructor and Master Practitioner. She enjoys teaching Nordic skiing, mountain biking, Zumba, belly dancing, and other fitness classes.
Her massage technique provides a 3 dimensional integrative approach with techniques in Phenomenal Touch™, neuromuscular therapy, compassionate deep tissue, passive stretching, Swedish, reflexology and myofascial release, and essential oils.
