Ayurvedic approach to Optimal Health with Sydney Doolittle

Sydney Doolittle is a former yoga instructor, personal trainer, and full time trip leader for various active outdoor travel companies. She has a passion for health and wellness, outdoor adventure, and exercise and has always had a strong desire to turn her passions into her life’s work.

Sydney recently graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition as an Integrative Health Coach and the California College of Ayurveda as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor. For the past 4 years, she has been studying about the oldest form of medicine in the world, Ayurveda, a 5,000 year old system of alternative medicine with roots in ancient India and deep ties in Yoga.  Ayurveda is a sanskrit word meaning, ‘the Science of Life’ and it is the oldest practiced healthcare system in the world! It is based on the idea that disease and suffering are caused by imbalances and stressors in the mind and body. The Ayurvedic approach treats each unique individual using diet, lifestyle, and 5 sense therapy to bring a person back into balance. The goal of Ayurveda is to teach people how to reach optimal health through a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Sydney is very excited to finally be offering what she has learned from her recent years of Ayurvedic study to the public, in a variety of ways. She will be presenting Free, one hour talks explaining what Ayurveda is in more depth, as well as taking one-on-one clients for a charge, over the next 6 months. Sydney will also host a 6-week zoom course beginning in January that will dive deeper into the Holistic practices of Ayurveda, teaching you different tools and techniques to care for yourself and keep you healthy and happy.
